An Australian Mockumentary following three hunters as they each try to catch the Jolly Man himself, Santa Claus.

　　A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
　　What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.

　　王而立（杜海涛 饰）个性单纯善良，是一个开朗正直的有为青年，只是，年近三十的他依然过着形单影只的生活，还有一个个性强势的母亲（柳英霞 饰）。对于儿子的感情状况，王妈妈感到十分不满，因此，她几乎抓住了一切机会，向王而立施展逼婚大法。
　　周美娜（沈梦辰 饰）个性温和外表靓丽，却因为对爱情要求太高，挑来挑去，最终反而变成了被剩下的那一个，但是，她并不愿因此而降低对另一半的要求，所以，对于家人找来的歪瓜裂枣般的相亲对象，周美娜避之而不及。某日，逃避相亲的周美娜遇见了逃婚的王而立，两人共同踏上了一段充满了惊险和趣事的旅途。

上世纪初，猖獗的香港海盗屡屡劫持商船，考虑到各国商家的投资信心会因此减少，继尔香港国际贸易中心的地位可能会不保，当局改编水师，成立了一支特警小队负责海上治安。 　　队长马如龙（成龙）执行公务时遭人陷害，愤而辞职。海盗头目罗三炮（狄威）抓走官兵家眷做人质，当局决定利用内线周永龄从中调停。因为早知周永龄与海盗勾结，马如龙自告奋勇拯救人质，他重组水师，制定了A计划，期望通过与上司洪天赐（元彪）及好兄弟卓一飞（洪金宝）作里应外合，将海盗一网打尽。

　　某广告公司小职员太田喜一郎（妻夫木聪 饰）虽然充满热情，但是无论职场还是日常的人际交往都饱受挫折，偏偏他的上司大泷一郎（丰川悦司 饰）又是自私自利、推诿塞责的人，以致于太田被他耍的团团转。这一天，即将前往圣莫尼卡广告节担当评委的大泷遇到棘手的难题，某金主客户要求自家拍的无聊广告必须在广告界上获奖，大泷转嫁危机，哄骗太田替自己去海外当评委。临危受命的傻小子先跟随资料室的镜先生（Lily Franky 饰）学习评委技巧，之后拜托精英女同事阿光（北村景子 饰）假扮老婆随行。在海外他们不仅遭遇强劲的对手木泽遥（铃木京香 饰），还必须应对评委们千奇百怪的小伎俩。
　　过于驽钝迂直的太田能否顺利完成不可能的任务呢？

　　肯特是美国西部巴特尔勒克特市的头头，他由于一种作弊的纸牌游戏落入了城镇巡逻队员的控制之中，也使得一个叫谢里夫·科格的人被杀害了。该市市长与肯特密谋使本镇陷入混乱，以获得自己的利益，他们安排了一个华盛顿·蒂斯代尔的人作为新的治安官，他们以为这个人很好控制。但是，他们不知道蒂斯代尔原来是一个著名检察官汤姆·戴斯特里的代理人，戴斯特里有强大的势力，能够安排更为强大的人马来作为蒂斯代尔的副手。肯特和市长没有想到这一点，虽然他们通过各种周密的计划，想要控制整个事态的发展，但最终失败了，他们的阴谋和罪行大白于天下。
