　　故事讲述了一位老练的民主党战略家(卡瑞尔饰)在威斯康星州的一座右翼小镇，帮助一位退休的老将竞选市长。

　　Gippi is a 14-year-old girl who lives in Simla with her mother Pappi and little brother Booboo. She is overweight and awkward and doesn't know how to handle the physical, emotional and social changes happening in her life. In school, she is a backbencher and is constantly bullied by the popular queen-bee Shamira. At home, she's trying to figure out how to deal with living in a broken home. In the middle of all this chaos, she falls madly in love with an older, brooding heartbreaker. When her love story comes to a humiliating end, and she is publicly scorned, she decides to take her life in her hands and accepts Shamira's challenge to stand against her in the school elections. Whatever the final outcome might be, Gippi makes sure she has a great time in the journey, filling it with delicious desserts, funny teachers, school crushes, and Shammi Kapoor dances. 受过特警训练的警察陈家驹（成龙）为人正直办案拼命，时常将女友（张曼玉）忽略。某次围剿行动中陈家驹拘捕了大毒枭朱滔，但因证人（朱滔的秘书）莎莲娜（林青霞）的突然失踪，未能将其绳之于法，陈家驹因此受降职处分。事后含恨在心的朱滔为了报复陈家驹，设计将其诱至囚禁莎莲娜的别墅，并派手下杀死一名警察嫁祸其身，令陈家驹在警方的通辑令下只能四处流亡。 　　而侥幸逃脱的莎莲娜明白到朱滔为人不择手段的本质，为求自保，冒险潜入朱滔办公室偷得证据，却被其手下追杀至商场，陈家驹及时赶到，与朱滔手下展开激战。

　　A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
　　What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.

　　汽车，这个普通的交通工具，在现代生活里占有愈来愈重要的作用。买车实际上成为了一种积极动态的投资，在社交的意义和精神需求上，使人与城市产生更活跃的交流，是其他个人投资方式所不能替代的。本片正是从这个立意点出发，“吝啬富商”郭立行（郭德纲 饰）、“单身剩妈包工头”严小莲（王一楠 饰）、“风流小资男”陈波（许绍洋 饰）、“网购控白领”伊容（张馨予 饰）四个人，因为不同的个人目的团购了一辆“车”，从而引发了一系列“囧”事，实际展示的是围绕车引发的价值观差异的冲突过程，细致刻画了都市生活中不同人群的众生相，涉及了如“拼车”、“摇号”、“限行”、“亚历山大”族等许多当前社会热议点，加入鲜辣的笑料，嬉笑怒骂中体现故事主人公的窘境，从侧面反映出奋斗在一线城市的年轻人的真实生活状态。

上世纪初，猖獗的香港海盗屡屡劫持商船，考虑到各国商家的投资信心会因此减少，继尔香港国际贸易中心的地位可能会不保，当局改编水师，成立了一支特警小队负责海上治安。 　　队长马如龙（成龙）执行公务时遭人陷害，愤而辞职。海盗头目罗三炮（狄威）抓走官兵家眷做人质，当局决定利用内线周永龄从中调停。因为早知周永龄与海盗勾结，马如龙自告奋勇拯救人质，他重组水师，制定了A计划，期望通过与上司洪天赐（元彪）及好兄弟卓一飞（洪金宝）作里应外合，将海盗一网打尽。

　　本片是以前任ICE情报局探员Matt Helm（迪恩·马丁 Dean Martin 饰）为主角的系列电影第四集（总共有四集）。
