辣妹刺客

　　在这部感人的喜剧中，一个脾气暴躁的男人在圣诞节被诅咒，一年后醒来，却发现他注定要一遍又一遍地重温平安夜。

　　预科学校巴顿学院的老师保罗（保罗·吉亚玛提 饰）不太受欢迎，不管是学生、老师还是校长，都不太喜欢他，他们觉得他浮夸又僵化。在1970年的圣诞假期，保罗留在了学校监督无法回家的学生。几天后，只有一个学生留了下来——一个名叫安格斯的15岁捣蛋鬼，他是一个被不良行为破坏的好学生，总是在被开除的边缘试探。与保罗和安格斯一起留下的还有学校厨师长玛丽，一个为特权阶层的儿子们提供服务的非裔美国妇女，她自己的儿子最近在越南失踪了。这三个截然不同的失意者组成了一个奇怪的圣诞家庭，在新英格兰大雪纷飞的两个星期里，分享着不幸经历，并意识到他们中没有人感谢自己的过去。

These Montevidean folks' stony expressions belie a life gripped frozen by accustomed routines. So it goes with an old Jewish bachelor who owns an ageing sock factory. When his estranged younger brother decides to visit for their mother's burial, he asks his employee Marta to pose as his wife. The resulting encounter creates clumsy silences that are uncomfortably comic. Grand Prize, Tokyo Film Festival and FIPRESCI prize from Cannes.
　　這一代的年輕人真係好老成好cool，兩個新導演還不到三十，便已拍出型到飛起黑色到痺的老人寂寞晚境。話說襪廠老闆阿積孤家寡人，寂寞到死，一天飛來鴻雁，巴西的弟弟話來拜訪。他要表面風光，唯有求忠厚下屬瑪泰暫充老婆。兩個名字同樣叫孤獨的六十幾歲人忽然親近，彆扭得不在話下。口若懸河的巴西弟弟一出現，畫面調子大轉彎。三人海邊度假，瑪泰沉睡的神經率先波動，往後發生的事估都估唔到。郭利斯馬基式冷面幽默扭橋扭到熱帶南美，黑色照舊輕描淡寫功力同樣高超，另一種風情絕對原創。去年康城驚艷，連奪國際影評人獎及原創觀點大獎。

　　杜立德（艾迪·墨菲 Eddie Murphy 饰）因为拥有能够和动物交流的特殊能力而在当地名声大噪，拜访他的除了人类以外，前来寻求帮助的动物亦是络绎不绝，一时间，杜立德忙的焦头烂额，在无形之中忽略了家人们的感受。
　　一天，一群动物找到了杜立德，它们赖以生存的森林即将被砍伐，它们希望杜立德能够帮助它们保护唯一的家园。杜立德在森林里找到了珍稀物种太平洋熊艾娃（莉莎·库卓 Lisa Kudrow 配音），只要能给艾娃觅得一配偶，那么就可以要求政府保护这片森林。在马戏团里，杜立德找来了早已经被人类驯化的大熊阿奇（史蒂夫·茨恩 Steve Zahn 配音），但很显然，阿奇并没能够吸引到艾娃的注意。

　　讲述了1920年代英国海滨小镇的一桩荒诞新闻，当地伊迪丝·斯旺和爱尔兰移民罗斯是邻居，当伊迪丝和其他居民开始收到匿名信件时，罗斯被认为是始作俑者。然而，当以警官格拉迪斯·莫斯为首的镇上妇女们开始自行调查这起事件时，她们注意到事情有些不对劲，罗斯可能根本不是罪魁祸首。

　　A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
　　What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.

　　1970年代传奇摇滚乐手丹尼柯林斯（阿尔·帕西诺 Al Pacino 饰）在经历人生低潮时，经纪人（克里斯托弗·普卢默 Christopher Plummer 饰）发现了一封40年来从未送达的信，这封信居然来自披头士主唱约翰·列侬，在40年前写给当时19岁的他，这让他再度受到启发，毅然决然地离开现在奢华的生活，踏上寻找生命意义的旅程，而他也在这段旅程中收获了真爱和消失已久的创作灵感……
