孔子生于鲁国，一生历经坎坷而志向不渝。他早年在鲁国出仕从政，后因时局动荡、理念难伸，遂率领弟子周游列国，宣扬以“仁”为核心的儒家思想。然而所到之处，虽受敬重却终不见用。晚年返归鲁国，虽仍遭冷遇，却始终坚守理想，致力于教化与著述。直至去世后，其弟子将他的言行辑录整理，并身体力行，使孔子的思想得以跨越时代，绵延长存。
