　　又是新一届投靠谈判专家的时候，无心插柳的杨光（张智霖 饰）与有心栽花的叶可人（文颂娴 饰）也在这支大军中。他们的老师分别是警界明星彭国栋（欧阳震华 饰）和女强人简洁（郭可盈 饰）。杨光表面上是富家子弟，实际生母在家中并无地位，于是形成了他得过且过，开心就好的性格。这种性格深被为人自负的彭国栋所反感，培训过程中摩擦不断。然而胆子很小的可人则因为害怕国栋影响了正常的发挥。简洁平日专注工作，没有时间陪伴丈夫家聪（陈豪 饰），不料到同样寂寞的国栋的妻子与家聪发生了婚外情。对丈夫一往情深的简洁不能接受这样的局面，提出离婚。无奈离婚后方发现自己怀孕。而同样离婚结局的国栋在一次工作中受伤，从此只能靠轮椅代步。这些事情均改变了二人原本的性格缺憾，他们渐渐走近。
