　　吴亚秋（吴耀汉 饰）和贝多芬（岑建勋 饰）是香港警署反黑组一对活宝警员，这对师兄弟吊儿郎当，不务正业，入行十多年还是初级警员。好在他们生性乐观，加上陈sir（陈欣建 饰）对二人多有照顾，因此他们倒也十分享受这样的逍遥生活。所谓傻人有傻福，亚秋阴差阳错还得到陈sir的女秘书安娜﹝叶德娴 饰﹞的垂青。
　　他们受命调查从事不法勾当而暴富的商人夏正毅（陈龙 饰），只是对方分外狡猾，不露出任何马脚。夏的情妇掌握他各种犯罪勾当的账本，并以此作要挟。夏命手下杀害情妇，而亚秋和贝多芬则成为了尸体的最先发现者。夏正毅为了得到账本，于是向情妇的表妹伸出毒手，亚秋和贝多芬能否将罪犯绳之于法？

　　常家大哥常满（黄百鸣 饰）事业有成，可是却嫌弃家中老婆程大嫂（吴君如 饰）是个黄脸婆，不懂打扮。程大嫂每天在家服侍老人痴呆的公婆，深得常骚（张国荣 饰）与常欢（周星驰 饰）的喜爱。娘娘腔常骚与“男人婆”表姑妈梁无双（毛舜筠 饰）是一对死对头，可在两人同时受到感情伤害的时候，萌生爱意。常欢是出名的花花公子，却意外撞坏了脑子，女朋友何里玉（张曼玉 饰）还是愿意留在他的身边。当个人都心有所属时，却要帮大哥想办法挽回与程大嫂的感情。

青年艾迪（甄子丹 饰）痴迷霹雳舞，兴之所至，生活中的一举一动也要伴着舞蹈的节奏。家姐阿英一把年纪仍然未嫁，表妹西巴拉（罗美薇 饰）帮助阿英打点快餐店，并暗恋着艾迪。这天艾迪路遇落魄武生大眼哥（袁和平 饰），见其身手出色饥肠辘辘，艾迪邀请他去自家店内工作。 　　霹雳舞高手肯尼回港，对艾迪的同学安娜大献殷勤。年轻气盛的艾迪与对方展开连场比斗，明招暗招，网球街舞，花样百出。同时大眼哥与阿英这对儿大龄单身配的关系也在波澜不惊中发展。艾迪虽然与肯尼斗舞中获胜，但西巴拉却大为吃味，艾迪用遥控车示爱也挽回不了对方，这时，误认艾迪为武林高手的武痴（狄威 饰）打上门来，要与艾迪一决高下……

　　布兰克（约翰·库萨克 John Cusack 饰）是一名经验丰富的职业杀手，效忠于组织，深得上司的信赖与重用。然而，成日里躲躲藏藏打打杀杀的生活令布兰克感到十分疲惫，产生了金盆洗手的念头，可是，他所签署的合同却并不允许他有此想法。
　　这一次，布兰克的目标人物竟然生活在他的老家底特律，在那里，布兰克和曾经的女友德比（明妮·德里弗 Minnie Driver 饰）重逢了，这场意外的重逢让两人之间再度擦出了火花。之后，布兰克意外遭到袭击，凶徒是他的同行格罗希尔（丹·艾克罗伊德 Dan Aykroyd 饰），更让布兰克感到吃惊的是，他和格罗希尔所要刺杀的人，正是德比的父亲。

　　A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
　　What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.

　　George is the scapegoat of his classmates. One day he cracks and shoots them. His best and only friend Blaise is accused in his place and sentenced to 7 years in a psychiatric hospital. At the day of his release, Blaise realizes he only has one family: his best friend George. But he does not want to hear about his childhood friend, as he tries to integrate with the "Chivers" a gang whose members wear red jackets and boots, drink milk, drive sport trucks and play an incomprehensible and violent game that mixes cricket and mental arithmetic.

　　罗宾（伊万·麦克格雷格 Ewan McGregor 饰）曾经也是一个拥有着很多奇异朋友的天真无邪的小男孩，但如今，已经长大成人的他在旅行箱公司上班，在挖空了心思完成上司布置的任务外，他还得想方设法的挤出时间来陪伴妻子伊芙琳（海莉·阿特维尔 Hayley Atwell 饰）和女儿玛德琳（勃朗特·卡迈克尔 Bronte Carmichael 饰）。罗宾非常爱自己的家人们，但这样的生活难免让他感到有一丝丝的窒息。
　　一天，罗宾童年时候的玩伴小熊维尼（吉姆·库宁斯 Jim Cummings 配音）忽然再度出现在了他的眼前，并且请求他帮自己一个忙。很显然，维尼依然将罗宾当成是以前那个单纯的男孩，这让罗宾感到有些无所适从。

　　本片中郑则士是一个品性善良的扒手，只偷取外地游客的钱财，且爱护家人，冯淬帆则是个好脾气而富有正义感的警察，这两个死对头的儿子，却是同校的好友，两人因而互相认识，且发现对方的优点。最后郑为了救母亲而打劫金饰店，冯在友情与职责之间经过一番选择下，还是把郑拘捕。
